I held my first Young Disabled Person’s Working Group on Employment and it was a huge success. I was so pleased with the enthusiasm of the members to share their, sometimes negative, experiences when trying to find and stay in work. The stories I collected will really benefit my policy recommendations as part of my work as Employability Officer at Muscular Dystrophy UK.
